4. Get paid a commission anytime your followers uses your link to make a purchase of a product or service.

To really make money with Affiliate marketing, the first thing you need is a website. You can either use blogger.com or WordPress, I recommend you use WordPress because more tools.
Choose Affiliate Products to promote
Before choosing a promote you must have done your research on the kind of niche you want your website to focus on i.e what is your topic focus is it on digital marketing, health, finance, insurance etc. After that you will choose a product that is in line with your website content writing.
Join an Affiliate network
One of the best way to select your Affiliate products is joining an affiliate network, these are companies/businesses that connect the merchant and the affiliate marketer

Promote the offer on your website or blog and drive traffic.
You can go to some of these Affiliate network and register or sign up as an Affiliate Marketer. After sign up you get offers to promote, apply for it and you will be given an affiliate link to promote on your site. This is the link is unique to you and when your followers click on it, that will take them to a landing page of the merchant. Anytime sales is made you make money
